Austrian, dial signed "Math Romer", 31-day time only, one weight Vienna Regulator with ribbon style calendar, c1870
CONDITION:
not only are month-duration clocks rare, but ones with a vertical date indicator are rarer still. The oak case has been nicely refinished, the signed porcelain dial has just a few faint hairlines, and the porcelain calendar strip and beat scale are fine. The brass weight, with its date pointer, is somewhat tarnished. The movement, with its extra wheel, is high quality. The front glass is wavy; the side glass panels need to reinstalled, and one is broken at the top. Ht 42"
